hip woes

I'm taking the "run 60 miles in June" challenge VERY seriously. I have already completed 6 miles :)

but with this comes my right hip problem. yuck. i'm 21 years old I should not be falling apart like this just yet! :( But I am so determined to train for this half-marathon I HAVE to push-through. I will just take it easier on my run tomorrow and see how that feels.

on to happier news, MADISON IS CRAWLING!!!!!

yayayayayay :)  my big girl!

tomorrow I start a beach condo cleaning gig for summer. This will be some easy extra cash. I'm VERY excited. :)

I'm having diet issues. I've been going to bed early to avoid late-night snacking. And by early I mean 7pm. If I'm asleep I won't feel hungry and it seemed like a good idea, until I realized I work best at night and I'm sleeping away all of my social life and times to be productive. So what should I do? Arby's and their deep fried mozerella sticks is right across the street taunting me. And I'm OBSESSED with pizza and French fries from Checker's (again, right across the street) ugh! I haven't had fast food in a few days though, but I'm miserable.)

I just want a pizza. I'll eat it for lunch and dinner and breakfast. This will save me money and time. This will make me happy and I will be able to stay up later tonight because I'll feel "fulfilled." I'll be able to go see this band downtown with kristi instead of going to sleep at 7 in fear of a hunger attack. Pizza is the way to go.

man am I f*cked up or what? There's no way pizza will SOLVE anything. I already have a bad hip, why add to the problem? I've been running like a maniac this week, why ruin it? I'm in a size 12 (soon to be 10) for the first time since the EIGHTH GRADE. do I really want to be a 16/18 again?!! NO!

I need to get out of my "fat girl" mindset and stop believing that pizza is the answer to my problems.

I don't really have much to say today? Lol

What a cute baby! Sorry about your hip :( My knee starts being dumb when I run. So I just don't do it. Lol.

I had the hip problem too. You're right...you kinda have to push through it (but not to the point of extreme pain!)

My diet has been crappy as well. And I've been at stand still with C25K. I need to get my butt in gear but I hear the pizza calling. Ugh!

Stay strong...you can do it!

Would make your own pizzas be a good alternative? I know what you mean. I love pizza and we have pizza one night/week... every week! I would rather have my own versions of the fast food ones though. I think mine taste better.

There are some really good homemade pizza recipes out there that are wholesome and good for you. I love pizza, too! And I feel better about eating it, when I make it and know what I'm putting on it. :)
